Staining of desks is
available either on-site or at our workshops. Please note that, in
most cases, furniture can be stained to a darker colour, but can
rarely be made lighter. Any residual polish smell will have
disappeared by the return delivery date. However, when furniture is
polished on-site there will be a smell from both the materials used
to remove the original polish and the new polish. Because of this,
we normally carry out on-site polishing at a weekend, unless a
suitable area is available during normal working hours.
The finish hardens with
time. However, with the possible exception of high-shine
applications (where several layers of polish are used), most
finishes are extremely durable by the time of return. |
